Collection Abstract Records contain minutes of the Industrial Committee, relating primarily to the opening of the Boston Cooking School and the work of Maria Parloa (1843-1901) and Mary Johnson Bailey Lincoln (1844-1921). In addition to a school of cooking, the Committee concerned itself with education for women in dressmaking, nursing, and phonography. The collection also includes account books and statement of receipt and expenditure of the Household Aid Company (The Domestic Economy Committee) August 1903- May, 1905.
