Description
The Health Center, a two-story building, was built next to North Hall in 1966. Facilities included a basement with fifteen beds, examination rooms, a laboratory, and a kitchen on the first floor. The cramped health offices in the MCB were converted into a first-aid station staffed by one nurse.
Located on the Residence Campus, the Health Center will be removed during Skanska USA Commercial Development's 'Longwood Place' project as part of a 99-year ground lease agreement with Simmons.
