Title
Elinor F. Reilly Martin '18
Description
Elinor Furnivall Reilly, who graduated with a degree in General Science in 1918, was a member of the Dramatics Club, Public Health Committee, Student Athletic Association, and the Simmons basketball and track teams. She was also secretary of the short-lived Suffrage Club on campus during the 1914-1915 school year, and, like fellow club members Margaret Riegel and Helena O’Brien, Reilly later joined the Social and Civics Club, perhaps to pursue her interest in socialism.
Reilly went on to study at the Boston University Medical School, earning her medical degree in 1925. She moved to Quincy, Massachusetts, and married Charles Martin of Milton, Massachusetts in 1929.
