Unfinished Revolutions

This chapter of the exhibit explores the symbiosis of how students have been shaped by their experiences at Simmons and in turn shaped their communities. At the time of its founding, higher education for women was uncommon, and education for independent livelihoods even more novel. Service learning has been one of the hallmarks of a Simmons education, and as this part of the exhibit shows, the cycle of community impact and transformation is kinetic.
