LVK: I felt safe. It was close to, you know, the school itself, and you know it was, it was cozy at night. You can come home and get comfortable and lay across a friend's bed, you know. So it was like a little family. The first year was tough. I had a young white woman who was my roommate, and we had some differences, you know, what our rooms should look like and stuff, but you know, I was able to get rid of  her. (laughs) No, I don't mean that, I take it back. (laughs) I was able to get another room after a woman across from us moved out of the dorm, so her room was vacant, and I was able to get into that.
