Daly Field consists of seven acres of parkland on the banks of the Charles River in the Brighton section of Boston on Nonantum Road. It is owned and managed by the Commonwealth through the Department of Conservation and Recreation. It was opened in August 2016 with the first athletic content played on September 1.

Simmons was proud to play a leadership role in the innovative public/private partnership that transformed Daly Field from a long neglected parcel of public land into a state-of-the-art recreational facility. Daly Field is the home of the Simmons field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball and tennis teams and serves the diverse athletic and recreational needs of the Allston-Brighton community.

The Daly Field complex contains a multipurpose synthetic turf field, softball diamond, field hockey field, tennis courts, field house, walking track, bike and walking path, stadium lighting, and digital scoring.

Simmons' lead role in the project as a Friend of Daly Field reflects its longstanding commitment to leadership development for girls and women, and to community engagement more broadly. Students at Brighton High School and youth involved in the Allston-Brighton Little League especially benefit from the enhancements.
